ZQ Merino Wool: natural, traceable, Italian
For a long time, we were looking for a natural fiber that could be paired with our Filoscozia® cotton.
We wanted something with the same authenticity,
the same care for the skin and durability.
We chose ZQ certified Merino wool: a living fiber, born in harmony with nature, traceable at every stage, and spun in Biella, Italy, with the same care we dedicate to everything we do.
The Material
Merino wool is a natural fiber from Merino sheep raised in New Zealand in harmony with nature and with respect for their well-being.
It is softer and more comfortable than traditional wool,
because the fibers are finer.
It is ZQ certified, an international standard that guarantees the quality of the fiber, the sustainability of the farms, complete traceability, and respect for people and animals.
From raw wool to finished fabric, every stage is carefully controlled.
The result is a noble yarn, transformed in Biella, Italy, with expertise and sensitivity, to become a fabric that accompanies everyday life.
Why choose it
Unlike traditional wool, often heavy or irritating, ZQ Merino is fine and light. It adapts to temperature changes, absorbs moisture without retaining sweat, and naturally limits odor formation. It is soft, elastic, and surprisingly practical: it can be machine washed on the wool program.
A lasting quality
Every new fiber we choose must reflect our idea of quality: natural, traceable, made to last.
ZQ Merino wool follows this same direction.
