Features, washing and care

All our items are made in Italy from natural fabrics.
There are several parameters to consider to identify the best cotton: variety, strength, uniformity, color, but for maximum quality, the length of the fibers matters most.
It is the essential element for creating fine yarns and precious, natural, durable, and very soft fabrics.

We only choose fabrics made from the best cotton, and Filoscozia® is a yarn made from noble, high-quality cotton: extra-long staple (ELS), with fibers longer than 34/36 mm.These fibers are relatively rare and represent only 2% of global cotton production.

 We believe that natural fibers, rather than synthetic ones, are important because our garments are in contact with the skin and offer a perfect combination of softness, durability, breathability, and hypoallergenic properties. For this reason, we have some tips to keep them in their best condition for longer.

Underwear items are washed and worn more often than anything else in your wardrobe, so it's worth remembering that they need to be replaced more often than outerwear.

There is no rule on this point, but the more pairs you have for proper rotation, the less intense the wear, so it may be more economical to own a good supply.
We recommend a rotation of at least 10-12 pairs which, following the washing instructions, should still look their best after 12-18 months.

Care and Washing


Some washing tips to keep your underwear in top condition...

Knowing how to wash correctly is an indispensable prerequisite for keeping your garments looking new for as long as possible.
If done correctly, each wash will make the fabrics softer and keep the colors bright.

Our advice is to choose a quality laundry detergent with a balanced pH, using only half the amount you would normally use.
Make sure the detergent used is bleach-free.
Bleach damages natural cotton fibers.
Contrary to popular belief, fabric softener is harmful to cotton fabrics, especially to our twisted cottons.
The tight weave causes the fabric softener to become trapped, damaging the fibers.
Next wash, try not to use it and you will see the difference.

Thanks to modern machines and detergents, it is no longer necessary to use a higher temperature to achieve optimal cleaning.
Choose a low spin cycle to keep the fabric's weave intact.

Never tumble dry your garments.
Don't give in to temptation, you'll regret it.
Natural fibers are damaged by heat, causing fraying and shrinking.
Line drying ensures that elasticity is not damaged and garments maintain their perfect fit; it is important to keep the iron temperature very low to avoid burning natural cotton fibers.
